The Bogd Khan Palace Museum
This palace complex was built between 1893 – 1903 for the 8th Bogd Javzandamba, the Theocratic Ruler of Mongolia. The 8th Bogd Javzandamba was born in Lhasa in 1869. He was proclaimed the 8th Bogd Javzandabma in 1871. He arrived and was enthroned on the Bogd Gegeen’s throne in Khalkha Mongolia in 1874.After his death, the palace complex was turned into a museum in 1926 in accordance with orders from the Central Committee of the People’s Party and the Government.

Currently the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum comprises of two parts, the 7 “Wisdom and Glorifying” Summer Temples and the Winter Palace.
The museum currently exhibits many unique and interesting artifacts from the 17th to 20th centuries, from priceless items that pertain to Mongolian Politics, Religion, Art and Culture, as well as Buddhist Art and Iconography created by the 1st Bogd and Undur Gegeen Zanabazar and the Zanabazar School, to clothing, regalia, and items worn and used by the Bogd Khaan and Queen Dondogdulam, and many more.
Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs
When it comes to dinosaur fossils, Mongolia's Gobi desert is one of the world's top places. Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs has a world-class source of fossils where you can find protoceratops skulls, dinosaur eggs, and a full skeleton of Tarbosaurus bataar, all of which are on display at this museum in Ulaanbaatar.Many people call this museum simple-T.Bataar's museum.

The Fine arts Zanabazar Museum
This fine-arts museum, founded in 1966, has a superb collection of paintings, carvings and sculptures, including many by the revered sculptor and artist Zanabazar. It also contains about 13000 objects including rare religious exhibits such as scroll thangka (paintings) ,Buddhist statues of Sita Tara, The Five Buddhas and Bodhi Stupa representing the best display of its kind in Mongolia.
