Mongolian shamans enter an ecstatic trance state in which the shaman is empowered to engage with the spirits I order to protect and heal members of the community, to guide souls, and cure illnesses.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The shaman might wear a headdress to resemble a bird, with the tail of a pheasant and the body costume of a fish. Drums are used to help the shaman enter the trance-like state, as chanting begins and the shaman &ldquo;transcends &ldquo;into another world while the body dances, swirls, or totters with jerky movements. Shamanism went underground during the former communist period but has been revived recently.</p>

<p>Mongolia is unforgettable, indescribable beautiful country with stunning landscapes. The local Naadam festival was fantastic. Visiting Shankh monastery was very interesting and peaceful. To see horse catching was amazing, it was exceptional experience. Tour guide and driver were excellent. In the near future I want to travel to&nbsp;the west Mongolia with Ayan Travel.</p>

<p>Our trip was a lot of fun. My favorite part of the trip was the flaming cliffs and the dunes. Hiking to the top, under the moon was excellent. Our guide is very knowledgeable and is kind. She also has a good humor. She was so kind to make our tour meals, show us amazing sights and spark curiosity. We highly recommend her. Our driver Tsogoo is excellent we so appreciate his skill and generous flexibility and he keeps the trip fun.</p>

<p>If I said that I will ride a reindeer for 70km in one way (our destination is located approximately 2 days ride away) most people would ask whether I have gone a mad.</p>

<p>To tell you the truth, for me travelling with photographers who has same desire and interest for Tsaatan photography trip during the cold winter was one of the most memorable trips of my life.</p>

<p>Our main aim was to explore unique Tsaatan way of life who inhabit the Northernmost region of Mongolia, see many reindeer at once, to capture the beauty of northern land in our lenses.</p>

<p>When we spent the night in depth of taiga sleeping in a teepee and rode reindeer we admired the local people&#39;s ability to withstand severe cold weather, hardiness and their unique way of living in harmony with nature.</p>

<p>For example whilst we were wearing sheepskin coats and felt boots, our 3 tsaatan guides were just wearing light coat, kirza boots and were sleeping in a wooden hut half covered with cloth and open front.</p>

<p>It was truly admirable when they saw footprints of the animals we did not even spot and told us exactly what kind of animal passed here and how many days ago.</p>

<p>If I am presented with another opportunity to travel again like this for sure I will take the chance!</p>

We enjoyed our trip in Mongolia enormously.

We enjoyed our trip in Mongolia enormously. Every day a new experience. Favorites: riding on a camel, visiting Mongolian family, landscapes, historic deer stones and burial sites. Our tour guide is a nice bright intelligent young lady she did her utmost to organize the transport of luggage, meals etc. We are very grateful for that.

We wanted to experience the nomad way life in the Altai. And we are very impressed about all we saw; west Mongolian landscape, people culture. The favorite place to visit where the seven nomad families we did visit and stayed overnight. A very great THANK you for guide and driver, both are very professional and very helpful and kind. Our unforgettable trip to Altai Mountains of Mongolia

It was a wonderful trip guided by a great team. /Guide, Driver, Cook/ I loved being/camping/ in the nature. It was a very nice and beautiful trip with nice nature and culture. Mongolia is a very nice country. We were hiking around Mongolian Altai Mountains with our guide. Puje is very knowledgeable and expereinced guide.

Mongolia is unforgettable, indescribable beautiful country with stunning landscapes. The local Naadam festival was fantastic. Visiting Shankh monastery was very interesting and peaceful. To see horse catching was amazing, it was exceptional experience. Tour guide and driver were excellent. In the near future I want to travel to the west Mongolia with Ayan Travel.

Gobi Trip Mongolia

Our trip was a lot of fun. My favorite part of the trip was the flaming cliffs and the dunes. Hiking to the top, under the moon was excellent. Our guide is very knowledgeable and is kind. She also has a good humor. She was so kind to make our tour meals, show us amazing sights and spark curiosity. We highly recommend her. Our driver Tsogoo is excellent we so appreciate his skill and generous flexibility and he keeps the trip fun.

My Mongolian trip

I felt very well I taken care of with regards to my dietary requirements. Shine was very attentive and made sure all was understood. I did better here in Mongolia with people who know little about gluten issues because they were so willing to take instructions. I am grateful for this…

Winter Photography Tour to Tsaatan People

If I said that I will ride a reindeer for 70km in one way (our destination is located approximately 2 days ride away) most people would ask whether I have gone a mad.

To tell you the truth, for me travelling with photographers who has same desire and interest for Tsaatan photography trip during the cold winter was one of the most memorable trips of my life.

Our main aim was to explore unique Tsaatan way of life who inhabit the Northernmost region of Mongolia, see many reindeer at once, to capture the beauty of northern land in our lenses.

When we spent the night in depth of taiga sleeping in a teepee and rode reindeer we admired the local people's ability to withstand severe cold weather, hardiness and their unique way of living in harmony with nature.

For example whilst we were wearing sheepskin coats and felt boots, our 3 tsaatan guides were just wearing light coat, kirza boots and were sleeping in a wooden hut half covered with cloth and open front.

It was truly admirable when they saw footprints of the animals we did not even spot and told us exactly what kind of animal passed here and how many days ago.

If I am presented with another opportunity to travel again like this for sure I will take the chance!

Altai Mountains and Golden Eagle Festival Mongolia tour

We traveled to Mongolia in 2017 with Ayan Travel. We visited Amarbayasgalant Monastery and enjoyed Tsam dance festival. It was uncommon. We also take a trip to Altai Mountains and Golden Eagle Festival. The trip far above our expectations. Beautiful country and excellent trip. We enjoyed every minute of it. The best tour guide we ever had in our long history of travelling.

Impressive Mongolia

All the places were my favourite. I really didn't know what to expect in Mongolia. I was impressed with everything i saw.
How Beautiful !! And Piecefull !!
Our tour guide and driver both went above and beyond their duties.
They seemed to anticipate our needs and looked after us very well.
Shinee's knowledge on Mongolia's history, plants, animals etc etc was most impressive !
