Siilhemiin Nuruu National Park

Located along the northern border of Bayan-Ulgii Province, Siilhemiin Nuruu National Park extends over 140.000 hectares of land, including Ulaanhus and Nogoonuur sums. This park provides critical habitat for a several large mammals such as Argali sheep, Ibex, Wolf, and Snow Leopard. Siilhemiin Nuruu’s landscape is covered with unmarked and burial mounds. Throughout the park hiking, camping, and horseback and camel riding are possible.
