Day 1.

(05 March) Drive to South Gobi Province

We will drive to the southern part of Mongolia on a paved road to South Gobi Province. Overnight in a local hotel in Dalanzadgad city. (L/D)

Day 2.

(06 March) Enjoy Camel Festival (Day 1)

Drive to the small village where the festival is held. The festival is organized by the "Ten Thousand Camels" association in order to protect two-humped Bactrian camels and reproduce camel herders, to increase their productivity, to increase herder's income by tourism. (B/L/D)

  • Introduce to the action of “Save Nature” with the art of children in Bulgan village, craftwork, and mare`s milk, all kind of dairy products.

Day 3.

(07 March) Camel Festival (Day 2)
  • Camel racing
  • Competition of shows camel training methods and customs of Gobi people.

Each team must have 5 members to participate and show techniques of catching camel with lasso tying into camel's nose and learning to ride and load.

Visitors get the chance to interact with and learn about these intriguing animals and the camel herders' nomadic way of life. Drive back to Umnugobi. Have dinner and overnight stay in the local hotel. (B/L/D)

(08 March) Back to Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar after breakfast. Have lunch on the way. Transfer to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar and rest. (B/L/D)

(09 March) Departure

Transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport or Train station and depart Mongolia. (B)
